Hi angel 🫶🏽 My name is Elisa - I’m an artist, a lifelong dog mom, & a bookworm who has spent nearly two decades inside the worlds of fashion, design, & marketing - because I love it.
Death Bed Dog Moms is a dream project I’ve wanted to do for years - using my personal style, philosophy, grunge design, & what I’ve learned working in the screen printing industry as the inspiration (I’ve gotten to know a LOTTTTT of tshirts by now).
I wanted pieces I could wear that combine dramatic, eye catching graphics but on the most comfy & flattering clothes I could find - so you can wear this gear as a statement or as your every day pieces, doing training & on hikes with your pack.
This is the first release of multiple that will go live throughout 2026…I had to start simple & small, to start somewhere :)
If you decide to collect a piece… you’re officially part of the origin story. And that’s a pretty huge deal.
How It’s Made
Everything is produced in small batches to keep quality high and waste low.
All printing is completed in house at our family owned Pacific Northwest screen printing studio, with nearly 20 years of professional screen printing experience. Nothing is mass produced. These are meant to be special collector’s items.
From the hand sewn hem tag to the interior printed label, I wanted to add details that most people skip. The inside tag is printed so nothing itches. The hem tag is sewn because small touches elevate everything!! And bc I can….so I did!!
Credit to Luciferium War Graphics for most of these illustrations 🫶🏽 I searched for years for an artist to bring my first list of concepts to life, and I am so happy to have teamed up with someone so talented!
Why It’s Different
This is not just digital graphics stamped on a generic piece of clothing...
I hand pick fabrics. I obsess over print placement & size. I sample & wear. I edit. I remove what feels unnecessary or what doesn’t WOW me. If it’s not good enough for my closet, it doesn’t get released.
This is my dream dog mom edgy but girly but chic but fierce - all on my favorite materials, brands, silhouettes & styles. But released to the public for anyone who appreciates it, to collect themselves.
Investment
These pieces are priced to reflect small batch production, premium materials, and the many unseen hours behind them.
At this stage in my life, I would rather make fewer pieces at a higher standard, and follow a more sustainable way to share my work than to produce a lower quality version that isn’t the exact dream brand I have always dreamed of.
If you decide to add some of my work to your collection, I value that deeply. I’m the type of girl who wears shirts for over a decade, and loves collecting vintage clothing - I want you to collect items of mine to wear for over a decade, too 🥹 And just imagine a future alt dog mom girly scoring some of our DBDM at the thrift store??? Now that is goals.
Fulfillment Timeline
Please allow up to four weeks for production and delivery, I just add this to be safe!
This timeline includes fulfillment of the blanks TO our studio, possibly arranging any details with you if needed (out of stock sizes, etc - this can happen on occasion) and completing in house screen printing with full attention to detail, packaging, and shipping.
Most of the pieces are available in sizes up to 3XL, and for further extended sizes I will be contacting you individually with a substitute option(s) (I'm working on this) that will be suitable for you 🫶🏽 I want to do the best I can to be inclusive, so I'm learning how to do that as we go 💖
